Question

Can a transition create depth without requiring a conventional 3D scene?

Approach

The Rasterkern implementation combines a masked media surface with three typographic depth layers. ScrollTrigger controls clip-path, perspective rotation, scale and distinct z-axis shifts along the same timeline.

Potential

Suitable for scene changes in which content emerges from the same surface.

Not every spatial effect requires true 3D geometry. Masks, motion and independently responding layers can already create a strong sense of depth.
