The journey of a watch from the water surface to the seabed

RK–011

ABYSS

A study of depth, time and pressure.

  1. The watch hovers above a dark water surface and begins to fall.
  2. It strikes the surface and enters the water amid displacement and air bubbles.
  3. Below the visible surface, it descends through blue and petrol-coloured water.
  4. As the depth increases, light and visibility diminish while particles remain visible in the water.
  5. In the deep sea, the watch eventually reaches the seabed and comes to rest.
